About the Project
SPREG — the Western Serbia Economic Fair — has been held in Valjevo since 2004 and has grown into the largest general regional fair in Serbia. Its website had been built on a theme with a page builder over the years and still carried demo content that search engines were indexing.
We redesigned it as a custom WordPress theme with ACF Pro content blocks: a light, editorial look built on the fair's blue and the gold of its 20th-anniversary mark, with fair statistics that count up, exhibitor pricing, downloadable application forms and hall plans, and photo galleries from every fair since 2012 — more than 500 photos with a lightbox, all reusing the existing media library.
The migration kept every URL, every Yoast title, description and canonical identical, verified page by page before and after the switch. Leftover demo pages were retired with 301 redirects, every page now has exactly one H1, and the site correctly declares Serbian as its language.
